Q: When do tickets go on sale to the public?
A: They're on-sale now! Only a limited number of general admission tickets remain. All preferred, stimulus package, and VIP tickets have already sold out.
Q: Where else can I buy tickets?
A: You can stop by the studios of 95.7 The Beat at 4002 W Gandy Blvd to get your tickets. Additional ticket vendors will be coming soon.
Q: What if it rains on the day of the show?
A: This is a rain or shine event. Come prepared, but know that for everyone's safety, umbrellas aren't allowed.
Q: What items are prohibited?
A: No tents, umbrellas, outside food/beverages or video cameras. For everyone's safety, all bags, packages, and containers are subject to inspection.
Q: So, what can I bring?
A: Bring youself and be ready to have a good time! There will be plently of options for food and beverage once you get to the park.
Q: Is there seating?
A: The VIP section of the festival does have a LIMITED amount of seating available, however, for general ticket holders, there is no built-in seating. We recommend brining along a portable lawn chair or blanket.
Q: Where do we park?A: Since the venue is located in a downtown area, there is no specific parking lot we recommend, however there are plenty of options around – city garages (with regular trolly services to the park), The Pier parking, street-side parking, and private parking operators. Just be sure to check for any parking restrictions so you don’t get towed!
Q: What's the re-entry policy?
A: Funk Fest Tampa Bay has a no re-entry policy. If you leave the venue and wish to re-enter, you will be required to purchase an new ticket, subject to ticket availability. We know it's going to be a long, hot afternoon, so we're making sure the food vendors have plenty of water. In addition, there are scheduled to be misting tents throughout the park so you can cool off.
Q: I'm getting a ride to the festival... When's it start/end?
A: Gates will open at 2PM on Saturday afternoon, the first act, SWV takes to the stage at 4PM (Tickets sold before SWV was added to the lineup may incorrectly indicate that gates at 3PM and show at 5PM). The last act, Frankie Beverly and Maze is scheduled to take the stage around 8:30PM. The festival will be over once the last act has finished.
