With people of color losing their lives during traffic stops at the hands of the police, I don't blame the family coming coming to the scene to record everything that was happening.
I do think however, that the family could have and should have been calmer & obeyed the officers commands. But I can't see how the situation warranted the officer slamming that woman to the ground like it was a wrestling match. It was a traffic stop... and the infraction was expired tags & registration. That's it. Do you think the officer was justified? The Rio Vista Police Department will conduct an internal investigation.
